About Bartra (Bartragh) Island

Some people say Bartra or Bartragh as some people still spell it is "The last natural God made Golf Course in Ireland". Bartra is 357 acre's and lies off the West Coast of Ireland near ballina
County Mayo; Bartra is also known as Links land, the easiest way to assess the Island is from the pier at Killala, and at low tide you could walk across the strand to it. 

On Bartra Island is an old Manor House, and enclosed walled Courtyard and Stable yard. 
the Island is surrounded by five kilometers of beach and lies directly opposite Enniscrone Beach.
